The method involves superimposing different revolution speeds by an electric drive of rotational speed of a chain wheel. The drive connected with a gear is controlled by a power supplying aggregate, such that the drive rotates with an inconsistent revolution speed and allows development of the additional revolution speed. The phase position of the wheel is regulated and utilized for further development of additional revolution speed. An independent claim is also included for a device for reducing a polygon effect in a chain conveyor.
