The holder to solder components, preferably the parts of a heat exchanger, is a frame around them together with accessories e.g. side fasteners and barrier materials. The complete holder, or its component parts, are wholly of a plastics with glass fiber reinforcement or a carbon/ceramic compound material. They can also be cladded or coated with carbon fibers with carbon reinforcement or carbon fiber film.
