The carrier to hold secret data, e.g. personal identification numbers for check/credit cards or cellphones or online banking, has a carrier layer (1) with a toner receptive coating on its upper surface (10) to take the printed data. The printing is concealed by a covering layer (2) impregnated with a toner rejection fluid or a wax coating at its under surface (21), bonded to the carrier by an edge adhesive (3). The covering layer has a porous surface structure. The covering layer is an open-pore nonwoven, and the carrier is of paper or film or foil.
