The universal panel comprises a pair of vertical racks (2) forming the uprights of a frame. Each rack comprises at determined intervals notches (4) with two vertical slots one of which is vertically and horizontally displaced relative to the other. These notches engage fixing tabs (5) located at each end of transverse display support bars (6) so as to be able to divide the display surface into subdivisions corresponding to different sizes of standard posters.
