Brief description of the comparison between the pairs of indices materials

The method involves capturing one fingerprint at a place of a crime or during a police operation such as police custody, in a form of a digital image (IM1), by a digital video camera (6). Another fingerprint originating from a stored printed file is captured by a digital camera (5) in form of a digital image (IM2). The two images are simultaneously displayed in a computer screen (1) for comparing the two images.
