The device has a ring (1) whose lower edge is a cutting edge and integrated to a handle (3). The ring and handle slide in a guide tube (5). The ring is folded in the tube during its insertion into the eye and is unfolded to its initial shape. The ring is applied on an anterior capsule of an intraocular lens for repeatedly performing cutting operation. The handle has a stop (6) at its back part to limit its movement.
