The device has a support over which a crank is articulated, at the level of average height of water. The crank rotates freely in a plane perpendicular to front of the wave. A blade is fixed on the crank, at a distance equal to half the height of the wave such that pressure of the water on the blade gives a rotating movement to the crank-blade assembly, at each moment.
