The antenna has a ground plane (1) and a plane radiation surface (2) that extends to the right of and in parallel to the ground plane. The radiation surface is divided into two radiation zones (51, 52) separated by junctions. The junctions between the radiation zones comprise of switches (60) to resonate entire or part of the radiation surface by electrically connecting entire or part of the zones. An independent claim is also included for a telephone comprising an antenna.
