The device has a voltage source (E) delivering a single-phase direct voltage signal. Inverters (O, O`) have three arms, each connected in parallel on the source to cut-off the signal, and phase terminals are connected to the arms of the respective inverters. Control devices (CD, CD`) control the arms connected to a phase load, to cut-off the signal with a phase difference of half-cycle of cut-off of the arms with respect to each other. An independent claim is also included for utilization of a supplying device in an electrical power steering application of a motor vehicle.
