PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a robot to give an optimum explanation according to a visitor's visit history while following/guiding the visitor.;SOLUTION: The robot specifies the visitor's position when grasping identification information of an identification device carried with the visitor, and follows the visitor by a moving means while sending the acquired identification information to a server. The server refers to a visitor history database based on the identification information sent from the robot, refers to a provided information database according to the visitor history, extracts hierarchical data to be newly explained to generate guide and explanation information and to send it to the robot while updating the visitor history data.
