PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene participating in the perpetual blooming of an angiosperm. PSOLUTION: The gene encodes a protein described in the following (a) or (b): (a) a protein containing a specific amino acid sequence derived from a plant and (b) a protein containing an amino acid sequence, in which one or more amino acids are substituted, delated, added or inserted in the specific amino acid sequence derived from the plant, capable of regulating flower bud formation at the shoot apex of an angiosperm.
