PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for the pretreatment in the analysis of an element that is superior in heat resistance and chemical resistance, such as acid resistance or the like and optimum to heat treatment, and to provide an element analyzing method that uses it. PSOLUTION: The container for the pretreatment in the analysis of the element is used, when at least a measuring sample is dissolved in a solvent. The value of the ratio of the heat capacity of the container to the internal volume of the container is not larger than 0.5 cal/(°C cc), or the value of the ratio of the heat conductivity of the container to the wall thickness of the container is 0.01 cal/(sec °C cm) (cm) or larger.
