PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seasoning composition composed of a dry tomato extract, saccharides and/or sugar alcohols and common salt and to provide foods and drinks improved in the taste and obtained by adding the seasoning composition.;SOLUTION: It is found that an extract obtained from a dry tomato has favorable effects by paying attention to the dry tomato which is a vegetable material and one of dry foods as a material of the seasoning composition. As a result of further studies on the favorable form as the seasoning composition utilizing the extract, the seasoning composition exhibiting the favorable actions is obtained by using the dry tomato extract, saccharides and/or sugar alcohols and common salt. The resultant seasoning composition is useful as even a taste improving agent for various kinds of foods and drinks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
