PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device, a document list display production method for the document management device and a document list display creation program for the document management device, allowing the easy finding of a target document.;SOLUTION: When a selection part of this document management device receives an instruction of the list display of a document transmitted from a copying machine, the selection part reads data on the document designated through a document management part, performs the selection processing of the document displayed in the list display on the basis of the read data on the document, and transfers the data on the document determined to be displayed by the selection processing to a list display creation part. When the list display creation part receives the data on the document to be displayed, the list display creation part creates the list display displayed with the data on the document, and transmits the created list display to the copying machine.
