PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible the drawing-out of an electronic-component mounting machine in the case wherein the substrate mounted on the electronic-component machine to be drawn out is performed simultaneously at a plurality of mounting machines.;SOLUTION: An electronic-component mounting machine 1 has a substrate S thereon held at the stopping position of a substrate carrying apparatus and simultaneously stayed on the adjacent carrying apparatuses. Then the carrying machine 1 is pulled out from the adjacent machine. In such pulling method of the mounting machine as described above, clamping devices are so constituted as for substrate S to be able to escape from above the clamping devices. After making the substrate S loaded in the electronic-component mounting machine 1 to be drawn out escape upward from the upper ends of the clamping devices of the adjacent electronic-component mounting machines 1, the electronic-component mounting machine 1 to be drawn out is so slid together with the substrate S in the horizontal direction orthogonal to a substrate carrying direction as to draw it out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
