PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibody that is not reacted with normal β2-microglobulin but is specifically reacted with metamorphic β2-microglobulin made ameroid by change of stereostructure and to provide an immunoassay method for assaying metamorphic β2-microglobulin by the antibody.;SOLUTION: The anti-metamorphic β2-microglobulin antibody is a monoclonal antibody obtained by using β2-microglobulin C-terminal homologous peptide containing an amino acid sequence from 92nd to 99th of C-terminal side of β2-microglobulin as an immunogen, is not reacted with normal β2-microglobulin but is specifically reacted with metamorphic β2-microglobulin insolubilized by change of stereostructure.
