PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce abutting force (mutually pushing out force) of a turning shaft and a contact type seal member on a driving shaft side (inner side in the direction of turn) of the turning shaft of a scroll type compressor using the contact type seal member such as a lip seal in a bearing of the turning shaft. PSOLUTION: This scroll type compressor has the turning shaft 19a, a driving shaft 19, and a bearing part for the turning shaft. The bearing part for the turning shaft is provided with the lip seal 30 as the contact type seal member and receives the turning shaft 19a through the member. The turning shaft 19a is connected with the driving shaft 19 to perform turning movement centered on shaft axis of the driving shaft 19. A recessed part 19b is formed into a curved face by making distance from a part where it is at substantially closest position from the driving shaft 19 to shaft axis of the turning shaft 19a shorter than distance from the other position to shaft axis of the turning shaft 19a in an outer peripheral part at a position where it opposes substantially to the lip seal 30 as the contact type seal member.
