PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter excellent in color reproducibility suitable for color filter used in color liquid crystal display device, color image pick-up tube element, etc.;SOLUTION: The invention relates to the green coloring composition giving a coating film with 50% of spectral transmittance at 530-560 nm of wavelength in long wavelength side and 50% of spectral transmittance at wavelength range less than 500 nm in short wavelength side and ≥75% of maximum spectral transmittance in preparing the coating film with 2% of the spectral transmittance at 600 nm, and the invention relates to the color filter comprising a red filter segment, blue filter segment and two green filter segments with different spectral characteristics and at least one of the green color filter segment is composed of the green coloring composition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
