FREEZING/REFRIGERATING SHOWCASE AND INTENSIVE MANAGEMENT DEVICE FOR THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a freezing/refrigerating showcase by controlling the interior lighting inside the freezing/refrigerating showcase. PSOLUTION: The freezing/refrigerating showcase 1 has a human sensor 4 which is turned on when the presence of a person in a prescribed area is detected. The time when the presence of the person is detected by the human sensor 4 is stored every hour in a storage part 26a as history data. When the time is changed by a clock circuit 24, the history data of the corresponding time stored in the storage part 26a is read; if the time is shorter than a prescribed period (e.g. 20 minutes), the lighting is controlled in an energy saving mode in which the interior lighting 6 is turned on only when the presence of a person is detected by the human sensor 4, and if the time is at least the prescribed period, the lighting is controlled in a regular mode in which the interior lighting is continuously on. The history data are periodically transmitted to an intensive management device 10, by which the mode of controlling the interior lighting of each freezing/refrigerating showcase may be determined.
