DEFROSTING DEVICE FOR FREEZING AND REFRIGERATING SHOWCASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defrosting device for a freezing and refrigerating showcase which is improved so as to reduce the diffusion of heat from a heater to a refrigeration chamber during defrosting operation and appropriately detect the defrosting completion timing of an evaporator to control defrosting time reduction, a refrigeration chamber temperature and a commodity temperature increase.;SOLUTION: A freezing and refrigerating showcase has an evaporator 6 and a fan 7 in the bottom of a case body, and circulates cold air heat-exchanged with the evaporator 6 into a refrigeration chamber to keep cool in which a defrosting heater 9 is arranged at the bottom side of the evaporator 6 separating from the end of the evaporator 6 by a specified distance L, a defrosting sensor 10 for detecting defrosting completion is arranged at a cold air circulation duct 4 separating from the exit side end of the evaporator 6 with an interval, a freezing device and the fan are stopped by a defrosting start command and then the defrosting heater is powered up to perform defrosting, and the defrosting sensor 10 is arranged at a bottom side lower than the half of the height of the evaporator 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
