PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for producing a nanocarbon material with which mass production can be continuously performed, and a carbon material of a single layer with high purity can be produced, to provide catalyst particulates, to provide a method for producing a nanocarbon material, and to provide a carbon material production system. PSOLUTION: The catalyst for producing a nanocarbon material forms a nanocarbon material using a carbon raw material, and is obtained by reducing a multiple oxide in a reducing atmosphere, so as to precipitate active metal.
