PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ni-Cu-Zn-based ferrite material having improved stress-resistance characteristics without impairing magnetic characteristics such as magnetic permeability.;SOLUTION: The Ni-Cu-Zn-based ferrite material is a sintered compact which has a composition of main components, comprising, by mol, 45-49.8% Fe2O3, 0.5 to 5% CuO and 10-40% ZnO, and the balance being NiO, and which contains, as sub-component, SnO2 in an amount of 0.2-4.5 wt%, based on the main component. The Ni-Cu-Zn-based ferrite material has a density of ≥5.1 Mg/m3. It is preferable that the content of CuO being one of the main components is 1-4.9 mol% and the content of SnO2 being the sub-component is 0.5-3.5 wt%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
