PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a method, etc., for proposing an insect pest control system into a general-purpose technique. PSOLUTION: The proposed method of the insect pest control system in a protected cultivation greenhouse reducing the amount of an applied chemically synthesized insecticidally active compound is provided. In the method, the insect pest control system is composed of an insect pest control method based on a combination of the insect pest with the whole period of cultivation and chemical/biological control. The method, etc., comprise (1) a step of specifying a compound for the insect pest control in the insect pest control system in the greenhouse, (2) a step of selecting the insecticidally active compound having substantial efficacies for natural enemies to the insect pest in the specified compound, (3) a step of exchanging at least one or more chemical control methods in chemical control methods using the selected compound for a biological control method using any natural enemies which are those for the insect pest without resting all the year round or have an activity in the winter and (4) a step of proposing the insect pest control system comprising the exchanged biological control method.
