PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit optical axis adjusting device and a lens unit optical axis adjusting method with which the eccentricity of an optical element is accurately adjusted.;SOLUTION: The lens unit optical axis adjusting device is equipped with a holding member 13 having a 1st holding part and a 2nd holding part, an eccentric amount detection unit 30 measuring the eccentric amount of the 1st optical element 11 held by the 1st holding part and set to be positionally adjusted and the 2nd optical element 12 fixed in the 2nd holding part, a coating machine 40 applying a thermosetting adhesive to space between the 1st holding part and the 1st optical element, an arithmetic means 60 arithmetically calculating the thermosetting time to perform the thermosetting of the thermosetting adhesive based on the eccentric amount, and a thermosetting device 50 for performing the thermosetting of the thermosetting adhesive based on the thermosetting time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
