PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll flanging apparatus which is designed so as to perform return-bending by a simple means and also to be rapidly applied to the flanging work of various different members without deforming a work member, especially the rim part of a metallic sheet member on the outside of a vehicle body.;SOLUTION: The flanging apparatus for roll-flanging the rim of a body part (20) with a first flanging roller (14a and the like) which is mounted to a flanging head and can be rolled on a rim strip (22) during roll-flanging and a second flanging roller (15a and the like) which forms a counter pressure roller, includes a stable protective structure (1) which is fixed or can be fixed to the body part (20) and forms a rolling contact surface (1a) of the flanging roller (15a).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
