FILTER STERILIZING DEVICE OF AIR CLEANER AND CONTROLLING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the filter sterilizing device of an air cleaner and a controlling method of the same.;SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provided with a filter section for purifying an indoor air and a control section for controlling operations sterilizing the filter section. The control section drives both a blower and an ion generator to sterilize the indoor air in air cleaning mode, stops the blower in filter sterilization mode and separately drives only the ion generator to sterilize the filter section. The system is capable of sterilizing an air cleaning filter without a separate sterilizing device, reducing an economic burden and conveniently sterilizing the filter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
