PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire simply and accurately the position or the position attitude of an index mounted on an imaging device relative to the imaging device.;SOLUTION: This index calibration device for calculating arrangement information of a calibration object index mounted on the imaging device relative to the imaging device as calibration information is characterized by including an objective viewpoint imaging means for imaging the imaging device from an objective viewpoint position, the first image input means for inputting the first image from the imaging device, the second image input means for inputting the second image from the objective viewpoint imaging means, the first detection means for detecting information on an image coordinate of a standard index arranged in a scene from the first image, the second detection means for detecting information on an image coordinate of the calibration object index from the second image, and a calibration information calculation means for calculating the calibration information by using the information on the image coordinates of respective indexes detected by the the first detection means and the second detection means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
