PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade capable of certainly enhancing the wiping performance while the lifetime of the blade rubber is well maintained.;SOLUTION: A backing attached to the blade rubber is virtually divided into a plurality of regions in the longitudinal direction and set to curves or straight lines having curvatures in compliance with the respective regions, wherein at least one of the regions is set to a curved shape. The backing is formed through passage of a bending die 51 equipped with an inserting hole 51a to admit passage of a work W1 for leaf spring, and upon passage of the bending die 51 the work W1 is bent by a forming tool 52 of a press device 32, wherein necessary change is made according to the feed amount of the work W1 by changing the protruding amount of the forming tool 52.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
