PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in purchasing a commutation pass that a long non-use period of the commutation pass results in payment of an amount higher than the actual boarding result as the commutation pass price, and a user who is apprehensive for the future use thereof might hesitate in purchasing the commutation pass.;SOLUTION: In this commutation pass validity extension system, the period where the commutation pass is seldom used is regarded as out-of-expiration of the commutation pass, and the expiration date is extended by this period.
