PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform the inspecting work of a housed medicine without having the possibility of a wrong inspection by input mistake by providing a judging means in such a manner that the area of the medicine of a recognized first pattern can be stored and compared with the area data of the medicines on and after the first pattern. ;SOLUTION: A band 1 in which tablets 7 are separately packaged is carried on the downstream side of each packaging section 3. When a section judging means 30 detects a partitioning part 5, the packaging section 3 is stopped so as to be situated above or under cameras 41, 42, and the image is displayed on a display part 45, and the display is visually confirmed to inspect whether or not the packaged tablets are conformed to a prescription. A host computer B converts the photographed data of the tablets 7 of the packaging section 3 to area data and stores it as first area data. When the image on and after the second packaging section 4 is confirmed, the image of the tablets 7 is converted into area data, and compared with the first area data, and when both the data are differed, for example, by 10% or more, it is displayed on the display part 45 as a wrong package.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
