PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device applied to an exhibition case in a museum or the like hardly changing the height of a base isolated body so as to attain effective base isolation and allow exhibits to be displayed in an easy-to-see way. ;SOLUTION: A base isolating device comprises at least two X-rails 3 of circular arc shape formed low at the center and high at both ends and fixed to a lower face plate on a foundation, at least two Y-rails of circular arc shape formed high at the center and low at both ends in the orthogonal direction to the X-rails 3 and fixed to the lower face of an upper face plate 2 above the X-rails 3, connecting blocks 5 holding the X-rails 3 by the lower parts while holding the Y-rails 4 by the upper parts and provided with disc springs at the center, shock absorbers 8 arranged at the end parts of the X, Y rails 3, 4, and support legs fixed to the lower face of the upper face plate 2 and protruded downward.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
