PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pendulum type base isolation elements to reduce a processing cost and a material cost by constituting the curve-form support surface of at least the lower load support part of a pendulum base isolation device such that a metallic sheet and a grout cured layer are integrally formed, and perform an easy and reliable work to regulate the height and the level of a metallic sheet of which the lower load support part is formed, and shorten terms of work. ;SOLUTION: An under surface of an approximate central part of a metallic sheet 5 of a lower load support part is placed and supported on a bolt 4 threadedly engaged with a long nut 2 erected from a lower structure 1 and the height level of the metallic sheet 5 is regulated. Further, with the horizontal level regulated, the peripheral part of the metallic sheet 5 is fixed at a plurality of anchor bolts 3, surrounding the long nut 2, by a nut 6 and a washer 7. A gap between the lower structure 1 and the metallic sheet 5 is filled with a nonshrinkage grout material 12 for integral formation. A shoe holder to slidably place a shoe on the curve-form support surface 5a of the metallic sheet 5 and slidably hold the shoe is fixed at a H-shape steel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
