PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fallboard switchgear which can prevent a failure by the crack of a fallboard even when a large load is acted on stay metal pieces by a rapid operation or the like in opening and closing of the fallboard. PSOLUTION: The fallboard 2 has a link mechanism which has a notched part 2a opened to the rear and lower side on the one side face and a collar part 2b covering the upper side of the notched part 2a and has the stay metal piece 4 fixed to the notched part 2a of the fallboard 2 in the state of forming a gap between the notched part and the collar part 2b on the one end, a set screw 5 which is screwed more front side than the gap of the notched part 2a and fixes the stay metal piece 4 to the notched part 2a, and a buffer 8 which is attached to a fallboard back section 3, is connected with another end of the link mechanism and brakes the fallboard 2 across the link mechanism 12 when the fallboard 2 turns in a closing direction.
