PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice traffic band warrant system and method for warranting a transmission band of voice traffic on a connectionless network. ;SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a call request from a VoIP terminal 1-1, a VoIP call control unit 4 informs a CAC (Call Admission Control) server 5 about transmitted/received IP addresses and inquires of the server 5 about a transmission band of voice traffic. The CAC server 5 discriminates the propriety of assignment of the transmission band usable for the voice traffic of the call on the basis of the transmitted/received IP addresses, a transmission path of an IP network stored in itself, the transmission band available for the voice traffic in the transmission path, and the transmission band during use. When the server 5 approves the assignment, the server 5 updates the transmission band in use and informs the VoIP call control unit 4 about availability of assignment.
