A process for the manufacture of a calendered bushing is described which has the following process steps: - cutting of a metal platen - introduction of holes in the platinum, each hole having at least one protrusion protruding it projects inwards, - placement of bungs of synthetic material, which have sliding properties, in the holes and - molding of the platinum to form the bushing.
