The present invention relates to a blowout coil for gas-insulated load-break switches whose phases have one fixed contact (2, 2a, 15) and one moving contact (4, 4a, 25), comprising a winding body (5, 17) supporting a single- or multi-layer winding (6, 19) connected to the fixed contact (2, 2a, 15) potential, and a field-control electrode (8, 18), and an electrically conducting element directing in immediate proximity of the fixed contact (2, 2a, 15). Said winding body (5, 17) supporting the single- or multi-layer winding (6, 19) is made of electrically conducting plastic material. Said electrically conducting element is formed by end section of the winding (6, 19) turn (9, 24) directing toward the contacts (2, 4, 2a, 4a, 15, 25). The turn (9, 24) of the winding (6, 19) is not insulated and is pointed towards the fixed contact (2, 2a, 15) side base wherein the free end of the end section (10, 23) is positioned at a minimum distance to said base and to the moving contact (4, 4a, 25), which can be moved beyond said end.
