The invention relates to a method for identifying low-molecular weight substances mimicking mammal epitopes, comprising the following steps: a) isolation of structures involved in the syncytial cell-cell fusion of trophoblasts to obtain an epitope preparation; b) immunization of non-mammals with the epitope preparation to obtain an immune response; c) immortalization of the immune response to obtain a library of antibodies; d) selection of the antibodies by means of the epitopes to obtain specific monoclonal antibodies capable to bind said mammal epitopes and having an inhibiting effect involved in the syncytial cell-cell fusion of trophoblasts; and e) identification of low-molecular weight substances. A method is disclosed for the preparation of specific monoclonal immunological antibodies according to steps b-d) and using monoclonal antibodies obtained in step d) for immunization.
