The machine has a base platform, sized to conform to the container dimensions, on which four upright arms are supported. A plateau, which locates parts of a container bottom to be assembled, is supported on the arms at a height matching the container height. Tubes interconnect the upper ends of the arms and are deformed when lowered towards the base. Adhesives or eyelets fasten the bottom parts together. An independent claim is also included for an assembly method of a cardboard container.
