A belt and tread drum for use in the manufacture of vehicletires and having a plurality of circumference-defining segmentswhose radial position is determined by a camming means. Theextent of movement of the camming means is selectable by stopmeans associated with a central shaft which serves to mount thecamming means and the stop means. Visual indication of theselected circumference of the drum is provided.
