The invention provides a liquid container capableof supplying ink to the exterior until the ink isalmost depleted, and allowing simple detection of theremaining ink amount and deviated distribution of theink component after a prolonged standing.The liquid container is provided with a firstconnection port and a second connection port on thebottom, communicating with a liquid chamber. Theconnection port is positioned closer to the end ofthe container bottom, while the connection port ispositioned closer to the center thereof. In theconnection ports, elastic members are provided so asto prevent leakage of the ink in the liquid chamber.
