CRITIQUING CLITIC PRONOUN ORDERING IN FRENCH

A grammar checker configured to correctly orderpronouns. By analyzing the inflection of marker wordsin a textual input, the grammar checker is able toidentify errors of pronoun ordering in the textualinput. The grammar checker parses the textual inputto identify the case of each of the pronouns in thetextual input. A list of ordering rules is providedto the grammar checker based on the inflected markerword, and used to generate suggested corrections tothe user. A French grammar checker corrects theseerrors based on whether the marker word is animperative verb or a non-imperative verb.
