A method for operating a management network of a telecommunications network with an agent (NE), and a first manager (NMC) and a second manager (EM), in which a communication follows between the agent (NE) and the first manger (NMC) via a first interface and between the agent and the second manager via a second interface. For communication via the first interface, a first object model (model 1) and for communication via the second interface, a second object model (model 2) is used for modeling the resources of the telecommunications network.
