PURPOSE: A wire assembly apparatus is provided to allow for a mass production and reduce manufacturing costs by automatically bending a wire and assembling the bent wire into a core body. CONSTITUTION: A wire assembly apparatus comprises a cutter for cutting a rod wire; a wire forming unit(1) having a slit, and which permits the rod wire to be bent in an inverse U-shape and inserted into the slit when the rod wire is pushed upward; a first rod(11) extended upward from the wire forming unit; a first air cylinder(17) for moving the first rod in a vertical direction; a second rod having a lower end accommodated into the first rod, and which is arranged to be slidable in a vertical direction; a wire outlet rod extended downward from the lower end of the second rod in such a manner that the lower end of the wire outlet rod pushes the inverse U-shaped wire downward from the slit; a second cylinder for moving the second rod in a vertical direction; a guide cylinder for guiding the vertical movement of the first rod; a lower mold(24) arranged directly beneath the slit in such a manner that the lower mold is rotatable centering from a hinge shaft(25); and a core transfer unit(34) arranged underneath the wire forming unit perpendicularly to the rod wire, and which guides the movement of the core body of a Balun transformer.
