Provided is a process for simply and rapidly analyzing concentration of dioxin among exhaust gas as harmful and toxic component under strict environmental regulation without any expensive apparatus such as high-resolution chromatograph/high resolution mass spectrometer by adapting measurement of chlorobenzene content in the exhaust gas in an incinerator. The process comprises steps of coloring chlorobenzene(C6H5Cl) in the exhaust gas by oxidation of sample taken from the exhaust gas with an oxidizing agent; measuring concentration of chlorobenzene through determination of absorbance; and calculating concentration of dioxin by applying the measured concentration of chlorobenzene into Formula 1, Y=0.85X log 1.2 (wherein Y is concentration of dioxin and X is concentration of chlorobenzene). The oxidizing agent is selected from hydrogen peroxide and divalent iron. The absorbance measured is ranged from 350 to 500nm.
