Reduction of the chromium oxides from scoria is exercised using silicon of the ferrosilicon, which add after carbon-containing reducing agents at achievement of the contents of the chromium oxides in scoria of 12...15 % also introduce at the rate of obtaining of the scoria in the furnace with the contents of the chromium oxides of no more than 5...10 %.
