Safety interlock system for servo powered doors and windows using proximity sensors and capacitative systems to detect obstructions in the closing path

A safety interlock system for servo powered doors and windows has electrodes integrated into the seals and applies to parts of the linkage and with proximity sensors to detect any obstructions in the path of the door or window and on parts of the linkage, e.g. the scissors shaped drive levers. The obstructions are detected by capacitative measurements and activate a safety stop and/or a reversing drive.
