Aqueous silicone dispersion (I), comprising an self-emulsifyable, surface-active siloxane organic copolymer (A), silicon-organic compound (B) (silanes, siloxane and/or silicones), water (C) and additive (D) (organic solvent, processing agent, preservative, thixotropic agent, non-foaming agent, dispersing agent, metal or metalloid oxides, as fine dispersants), is new. Aqueous silicone dispersion (I), comprising an self-emulsifyable, surface-active siloxane organic copolymer (1-54 wt.%) (A), silicon-organic compound (2-57 wt.%) (B) (silanes, siloxane and/or silicones), water (40-97 wt.%) (C) and additive (0-57 wt.%) (D) (organic solvent, processing agent, preservative, thixotropic agent, non-foaming agent, dispersing agent, metal or metalloid oxides, as fine dispersants) (where the sum of (A-D) constitutes to 10. An independent claim is also included for the preparation of (I).
