The adjuster has a control member for adjusting the angle of rotation situation, into an automatic controller (6, 7) for switched automatic control loop. The automatic controller has a data memory (29) having an automatic controller coefficient recording a transfer function. The data memory has two storage areas, and an automatic control loop connected with the help of an operation distribution matrix. The automatic controller coefficient is placed in the data memory range such that a mechanism for the operating condition is provided for the cylinder engine. The automatic controller coefficient is used in dependence on the operating conditions.
