Final controlling device/safety valve test execution verifying method involves adjusting a valve in a final controlling device (2) with a drive unit which is affronted at the valve. The movement of the final controlling device is acquired by an evaluating processor unit, while creating and recording a protocol about the movement. The movement of the actuator in the drive unit is acquired in an independent manner, by the sensor (11) connected with the evaluation unit.
