The current unit has wing profiles (13) that are utilized for stabilizing a racing car by air flow, where the wing profiles are arranged parallely. An angle of incidence of the wing profiles is situation-dependently controlled against the air flow and is variably adjustable. The wing profiles are arranged in a separate, static frame. A controller is provided with a memory unit containing a data base with recorded values. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a stabilizing system for a racing car (B) a racing car with a current unit.
